Able to accommodate any duration, from a few days through to multiple years, we work with each client to consolidate what is typically a two step process. Upon taking responsibility for your belongings, the lead on your Crew takes a complete inventory of ALL of your items, assigning each individual item a SKU # on the inventory contract that corresponds to a matching label placed on the item. Your belongings are transported and loaded into individual storage vaults in our facility, and a second note is made in the inventory paperwork denoting which specific vault # the item was placed. Every client is given a carbon copy of their own inventory, so should you require access to an item while in our storage facility, a client can simply call or email our office with the item # and description shown on the inventory list, and we can have the correct vault it is housed in brought to our dock for easy access. As these vaults are approx. 5′ x 7′ x 7′, they finding a specific item within them is not an overwhelming chore as opposed to digging through 25′ ft deep worth of your belongings in a public storage locker. Your monthly storage rate is based on the amounts of vault containers you utilize and a very modest rental fee of any furniture pads allowing all of your belongings to remain fully wrapped and protected while in storage. Additionally, our clients have the peace of mind that while in our facility, their chosen insurance coverage extends to all inventoried items as long as they are in our care. This is a far cry from a self storage facility in which the only coverage you have is the Master lock you place on the roll door. In the case of very short term storage, such as 1-3 days crossover (typically due to Escrow gaps), we often will simply charge a daily rental fee for the truck itself, leaving it loaded and secured at our facility in order to save our client considerable extra labor cost of double handling their belongings inside of a few days.
